Saturday in the Park will be held at the Juniper picnic area, alternate park road 5, just before water crossing #6 at the Palo Duro Canyon. Parking and restrooms are available. Admission is free; for more information

The Griffin collection, one of the museum’s largest and most important art collections, helped PPHM become a major destination for Southwest art lovers. Important Taos paintings in Griffin's collection included Brett's Horses in Snow, Couse's The Quiver Maker, du Tant's Cutting Ice on Brooks Lake (Cutting Ice on Taos Pueblo Lake), Fechin's Alexandra, Sharp's Cocoanut Blossoms and Wood Roses (Symphony in Yellow), and Young-Hunter's The Blue Door.
