 The trade literature is a rather unique collection and one of the largest windmill trade literature collections in the nation. For information on spurs, farm machinery, or windmills, the Research Center's Manufacturer's Trade Literature Collection includes advertising brochures, price lists and catalogs covering oil and gas production, western material culture, farm machinery, windmills and irrigation.

As a full service archives, the Research Center collects, preserves and makes accessible the documentary history of the Panhandle-Plains region.
