Nelda Monroe

Assistant to the Art and Exhibits Departments

As our arts and exhibits assistant, Nelda acts as the organizational left-brain behind the right-brained work of our art curator, Michael R. Grauer. She maintains files, sets up speaking engagements, and handles requests for our artwork (along with keeping tabs on our remaining living artists). Nelda was born in Littlefield and earned an English degree from West Texas A&M University. She plays the piano, is fascinated by Panhandle sunsets, and loves anything chocolate. Despite her fondness for the arid high plains, if Nelda could live anywhere, she’d probably end up “somewhere there was water.”

Contact Nelda at (806) 651-2965 or via email.
