Lori Holstrom

Registrar

Lori grew up in the small town of Basehor, just west of Kansas City, Kansas. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in History at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas. While at Washburn she was able to participate in a Study abroad trip to India and an archaeological field school, where an 800 year old Native American campsite was discovered.

Lori is excited to work at PPHM because of the museum’s vast, diverse collection and for the opportunity to learn about and experience local Panhandle history. As museum registrar, she works with the museum’s collection, focusing on acquisitions, loans, exhibitions, de-accessions, storage, and packing and shipping of loans.

In her free time she likes to listen to live music, go to the theatre and the cinema, and read historical, fantasy, and sci-fi novels. She also loves to visit and experience new destinations.
