Taking a peek at the past is important in educating our children about how we arrived at today. Museums are an important educational resource and we are happy to accommodate student groups.
With advance reservations made through the PPHM Education Department, we are able to provide free admission to all school groups – Pre-K through Grade 12. Here’s what you can expect when you bring a school group to visit the PPHM.
Guided Tours
Guided tours may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The guided tour lasts 45 to 55 minutes and is led by a PPHM docent. Teachers may take their students to other areas of the museum after the tour is completed.
Tour Guidelines
We require a minimum of one adult chaperone per 10 students. Adults must remain with their groups at all times. Museum store visits are limited to five students at a time accompanied by an adult chaperone.
Reservations
Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance of your visit through the PPHM Education Department.
