Join the majors section of COMM 1315 at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum for an interactive, one-of-a-kind look at old artifacts from our Panhandle's history. Explore the museum and discover first-hand how the earliest of tools were created and used. Spend time deciphering rock drawings, explore the advantages of a cradle board, notice how “everyday” chores such as washing clothes and curling your hair are performed without electricity, look at pictures through a stereoscope in Pioneer Town, and see how photos were taken and calls were made before the invention of smart phones; all this and more when the Artifacts COMM Alive! Do not miss out on these rare experiences. For more information, contact Paula Schlegel at
pschlegel@wtamu.edu
or by calling (806) 651-2806.
