TRUNK INTERPRETER
A trained interpreter can be scheduled to come into the classroom and give kids an energetic, first-hand history lesson. An interpreter-led program lasts between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the group.
If a trunk interpreter is booked, each program is $20, and the maximum audience size per presentation is 30 students. A transportation fee of 35 cents per mile will be charged outside of Amarillo or Canyon ISD.
Reservations must be made two weeks in advance, and interpreters should be booked at the same time as the trunk. To reserve a date and time for your class, call the Education Department at (806) 651-2249 or email education@pphm.wtamu.edu
