The Great War had an impact at home, not only during wartime, but for years to come in the pages of some of our greatest literary texts. Join PPHM on April 27 th for the lesser told story of how literature —from fiction to poetry and song writing—was impacted by the Great War. Hear from Dr. Bonnie Roos, Director of English Undergraduate Studies at West Texas A&M University, Dr. Ken Baake, Associate Professor of English, Dr. Jen Shelton, Associate Professor of English and Brian McFadden, Associate Professor of English from Texas Tech University as they explore works of J.R.R. Tolkien, author of Lord of the Rings, and many more.
