Be A Fan
One of the goals of Hattie Anderson when she started the Panhandle-Plains Historical Society in 1921 (that eventually led to the opening of PPHM in 1933), was the collection of stories. Nearly 100 years later, that remains the goal of PPHM. We get the privilege to tell stories, but the stories we get to tell are not just any stories, they are your stories and those of your friends and neighbors. Artifacts, exhibitions, programming, and education are not complete without your story. Your gift allows us to use stories of the past, to create moments in the present, to impact the future.

between November 23 and December 1 or make a donation at Happy State Bank, FirstBank Southwest, and Amarillo National Bank. By giving to Panhandle Gives, you allow the museum to qualify for amplification money. This means that for one dollar you give to The Panhandle Gives, the museum would receive more than one dollar allowing your gift to have a larger impact.
