While our doors may be temporarily closed, our work hasn’t stopped! We’ve been actively adapting our educational programs, and we’re excited to share that Week of the Young Child has not been cancelled—it’s moving forward with adjustments.
April 8-10
We offer two sessions:
First session begins at 9:00am to 10:15am
Second session begins at 10:30am to 11:45am
We have 3 different topics for you to choose from. You can come for one day or all three!
Tuesday- Triceratops Tuesday - Dig like a Paleontologist, Storytime with Fossils, Dino Eggscavation
Wednesday- Wiggly Wednesday - Create Wigglin’ Jellies, Bubbly Experiments, and a Live
Critter Show (with the Amarillo Zoo)
Thursday- Full STEAM Ahead Thursday - Join us for a Messy Mural, Blasting Off Rockets, and Wacky Weather
Fun!
Meet us at PPHM on the Lawn! Buses are welcome to unload in front of the museum. Students and chaperones will meet us on our East Lawn by the cabins.
PPHM staff will be waiting outside to greet and guide you!
What to wear: make sure to wear close-toe shoes and bring a jacket, we will be outdoors!
Week of the Young Child is a week full of educational content for Pre-K and Kindergarteners, celebrated all over the country.
