Heather Friemel, a West Texas A&M University Alumni and Canyon resident, serves as the Associate Director of Finance and Outreach for the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum and has taken on the role of Interim Executive Director for the Cultural Foundation of the Texas Panhandle. She is responsible for all administrative and financial functions. Friemel oversees the outreach team, a talented team that creates the vision and direction for future public-facing endeavors such as programming and education. Friemel has over a decade of management experience and has been with PPHM full-time since 2013. She brings with her a passion for the arts and nonprofit growth and sustainability. Heather has two adorable little boys named Carson and Finn and a great husband, Kevin.
